Lovely spot with a relaxing mood. the woman who greeted and who took care of me was kind, thoughtful and friendly. I enjoyed a great cup of hot ginger tea. I enjoyed the food and it was presented with care.

If you haven’t been to La Anh Vietnamese Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie, do yourself a favour and go! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic, and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the ginger tea, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, soothing, and full of fresh flavour. It’s the kind of drink that makes you stop and appreciate every sip. The vermicelli bowl was incredible. It had everything you want in a perfect bowl — fresh herbs, crisp vegetables, flavourful protein, and beautifully seasoned noodles. Every bite felt complete and satisfying. And I can’t forget to mention their homemade pepper sauce. Not only was it delicious, but it had just the kick you need to elevate every dish without overpowering it. You can tell it’s made with care. Overall, La Anh is a true gem in the Soo. Amazing food, warm service, and unforgettable flavours. I’ll definitely be back!

La Anh is an absolutely amazing place!!! Our dinner items were packed with flavour and the fresh chili oil was the perfect addition, an incredible experience for sure. Amazing staff, absolutely wonderful owner Chan, and neat atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful time, we will definitely be back! :)

Delicious food and very friendly service. The ingredients are very fresh and prepared with care. Fairly priced, on the more expensive end due to the care that is put in each dish. Highly recommend this place. Bring an appetite.

My wife and I really enjoyed our first visit on the recommendation of friends. We visited on a Friday evening around 7:30, and we immediately greeted and seated by friendly staff. We ordered spring rolls and shrimp chips. We feel the spring rolls are among the best we have ever had, crispy on the outside and full of fresh-tasting veggies. The dipping sauce was quite good too. I had no idea of what to expect from shrimp chips, and I was delightfully surprised by what was served. Big round crunchy chips with a hint of shrimp flavoring with more dipping sauce that made for a refreshing and fun appetizer before our meal. (See photo) We both ordered Bon Bo Soo noodle soup (soup was what we came for). We were both surprised at how large the servings were and how much meat was in the soup. Chile oil was offered in the side to spice up the soup and we did just that. The soup was delicious and filling. For the first time in my life, I took ‘leftover’ soup home from a restaurant! While the interior was not flashy, the atmosphere was friendly and we were made to feel welcome and we were attentively served. We will be back!

I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the authentic Vietnamese flavors right here in our small town. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The pho was absolutely incredible—rich, flavorful broth with tender meat and fresh herbs that transported me straight to Vietnam. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. It’s clear that a lot of love and care goes into each dish. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Vietnam. This gem is not to be missed!

My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers of Là Anh since it first opened, and even during its renovation closure, we couldn’t resist ordering online. Needless to say, we absolutely love this place! The food is consistently fresh, bursting with flavour, and simply delicious. Tonight, I ordered the vegetarian pho and my boyfriend went with the beef stew. We dined inside for the first time since the reopening, and the new atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. If you're in the mood for amazing pho or other noodle dishes, I highly recommend giving this spot a try!
